Email To Text Notifications Mullins, Jeffery C. 14 Apr 2025 10:00 EDT

Good Morning.

I am writing to inform you that AT&T (FirstNet, AT&T, Cricket) is discontinuing it email to text / text to email service effective June 17,2025. Verizon - messages are still being delivered (as far as we know) - officially discontinued their service in December of 2024.

This means that any notification that is sent to a <phone number>@VTEXT.COM or <phone number>@TXT.ATT.NET address will stop working. ATT has set a hard deadline of June 17, 2025 for service discontinuance. Verizon has already announced that their service is discontinued, but it appears messages are still being delivered. I was not aware of this until recently, so I wanted to get this out now so you can begin to make preparations to replace the VTEXT.COM and TXT.ATT.NET email to text service. I will be following up with a more detailed email detailing exactly who will be impacted, so now would be a great time to reach out to me with any updated contact information.

If you have questions, please call or reply to to this email.

Thank you.
