At this time, there is no update on Touch deployments.

FLEX Application Updates:
=====================

JANUARY
=======
On January 13, 2025, the FLEX secondary server (TEST) will be updated to the latest FLEX release. There will be no downtime for FLEX.

My team will begin examining the significant changes the release brings and will put together an overview of the changes.   Some of the changes we know of now are:

  1.
Agencies will have to install a new .NET runtime environment.  More information will given at a later date, however, FLEX will not function without the updated environment.
  2.
Some screens will look different due to updated graphical elements.
  3.
Multi-factor authentication.
  4.
Integration of FLEX with Command Central Evidence

FEBRUARY
=========
On February 25,  2025, the FLEX production server (LIVE) will be upgraded to the latest FLEX release.  At this time, no estimate can be made to downtime, but users should expect at least 4 hours.  FLEX will not be available during this time.

FUTURE
======
On a date to be determined, the FLEX application will be updated again  to implement a new mapping environment.  As of this email, no date has been established, but we anticipate an September/October timeframe.

Operating System Updates:

The following schedule will be used to apply security patches to the FLEX server operating system:

01-14-2025 - 9AM
02-20-2025 - 9AM (Thursday). Required to apply updates before updating the FLEX application on 2-25-2024.
04-08-2025 - 9AM
06-10-2025 - 9AM
08-12-2025 - 9AM
10-14-2025 - 9AM
12-09-2025 - 9AM
