Maintenance Announcement (Spillman)
Mullins, Jeffery C. 30 Nov 2023 14:19 EST
Please disregard this message if you do not use the FLEX (Spillman) Public Safety application.
Notice:
The FLEX (Spillman) Public Safety application will be unavailable on January 16, 2024, to upgrade the FLEX system software. As this is an update to the application, no downtime estimate can be made, but users should plan for the system to be unavailable for an extended period.
Please note that:
1 - FLEX workstations should have a current version of Windows 10/11 (22H2) and be fully patched (using Windows Update).
2 - This update will require all FLEX client computers (those that run the Desktop or Mobile clients) to have .NET 6.0 SDK installed ( https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0__;!!Cf0W_uKtjjI!qTjTWnQaAYV2N1jRPIP4gtZyR0zxZOIWfsbsokD9Tp6FEyjpyjSSe5Vk9-rkFyaMMWxui4FucE-1GHs40MVJionLynv3a9FcQBGdyZ9vVk2ptlKg$ ) or the new client install will fail. Agencies that use outside IT providers should notify their providers of this requirement and arrange for their FLEX workstations to have this dependency installed.
