Follow Up on Lowe's First Responders Appreciation Day Oct 7th 10a to 1p
McCorquodale, Christie D. 02 Oct 2023 10:36 EDT
Apologies for so many emails. I have clarified with Bryan Ore the details of the Lowes First Responders Appreciation Day they have scheduled for Oct. 7 from 10a to 1p.
He is requesting any department available to set up a booth or table (or truck) in order to educate the public on fire safety, EMS, law, and 9-1-1. They are requesting the smokehouse be there if possible. Bryan says in past events he has had departments hand out public education literature and goodies to the public.
He is working on food trucks to serve customers, and Lowes will have snacks and light refreshments available for free to the first responders. The company typically sends first responder appreciation coupons that they will hand out to anyone who participates.
Note to the Fire Chiefs - I have explained to him the constraints of this date (considering the fall festival) and he is going to work on having this as an annual event except requesting their home office to move it to the 21st due to the annual Firefighter Day on the 14th already scheduled. This year though he is requesting the 7th.
I know this is a hard ask but again if you are interested, please contact him directly at ryan.ore@stores.lowes.com to coordinate and let me know that you have contacted him for my follow-up purposes.
