Hello Everyone,

Our Chief, Johnny Nicholson is battling stage 4 non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver.  He is a 38 year veteran of the Balsam-Willets-Ochre Hill Volunteer Fire Department here in Jackson County NC.  For the past 25 years, he has faithfully served as our Chief.  We are having a benefit for Chief Nicholson on Saturday September 28, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm.  We are trying to raise some money for Chief Nicholson to put toward his medical bills.  If you would like to make a donation, no matter how small, please mail to the address below and make checks payable to Johnny Nicholson.  All donations would be greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to share this information with other fire departments that are in your county.  We would greatly appreciate it.
